Chris Jericho(原名：Christopher Keith Irvine)，外号 Y2J，早期活跃于美国墨西哥两地摔角界，出道初期在美国 WCW 和 ECW 打出名堂，并且是多个组别冠军。1999年8月被 WWE 招揽成为旗下选手，当时世界迎接二千年来临，所有人都在关心电脑千年虫问题，Chris Jericho 就拿千年虫 (Y2K bug) 开玩笑，一直以千禧年倒数作宣传 Y2J 来临，但摔角迷一直不知道甚么 Y2J，直到 1999年8月9日芝加哥的 Raw 节目中，他第一次于 WWF 出现，当时 The Rock 正进行比赛，Chris Jericho 却走出来说他就是 Y2J 。
