Y2AJ was a short lived tag team of "Y2J" Chris Jericho and AJ Styles.

History (2016)

Initially the two were opponents and trading victories when AJ debuted in the WWE. On January 25 Styles defeated Jericho and Jericho obtained the avenging victory on Smackdown. This led to a rubber match between the two at Fast Lane in which Styles was victorious.

On February 11 and February 22 they defeated The Social Outcasts on either side of the Fast Lane rubber match. In the first match they were not gelling well, but afterwards there were no such issues.

On February 25 they teamed up with Mark Henry to defeat The New Day, and on Raw the following week they defeated Kofi Kingston and Big E in a non-title match to earn a title shot the next week on Raw.

But on March 7 after they were defeated by The New Day and failed to win the tag team titles, Jericho attacked AJ to break up the team. He later explained that he didn't like AJ getting all the attention from the fans and he burned a Y2AJ T-shirt to affirm the team's break up. This ultimately lead to their Wrestlemania match, which Jericho would then pick up the win against Styles. However, on RAW right after Wrestlemania, Styles defeated Jericho, Owens and Cesaro for the No.1 Contender for Roman Reigns' World Heavyweight championship, ending the rivalry between Y2AJ.
