Worldwide Underground was a professional wrestling stable and tag team in several independent promotions. Members include Jack Evans, Ricky Mandel, PJ Black, Taya and team leader Johnny Mundo.
History[]
The group was founded as early as 2016. Members Johnny Mundo, Jack Evans and PJ Black held the Lucha Underground Trios Championship before losing the titles to the triad of Aero Star, Drago and Fenix during the July 20, 2016 episode of Lucha Underground.
After spending most of 2016 in Lucha Underground as well as making appearances during the 2018 season of the promotion airings, Worldwide Underground went on to branch out and appear in other promotions. They debuted in PCW ULTRA on January 18, 2019 at PCW ULTRA A2K19, where members Johnny Mundo & PJ Black defeated The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero M & Rey Fenix). On January 31, Worldwide Underground debuted in Bar Wrestling at Bar Wrestling 29: Four Touchdowns In A Single Game, where members PJ Black & Taya Valkyrie won a mixed tag team match, defeating Diamante & Maxx Stardom.
