Walker Stewart (April 25, 2002) is a professional wrestling play-by-play commentator, Color commentator, ring announcer and producer. He is known to wrestling fans as "The Velvet Voice" due to his notably deep voice.

Career[]

In March 2021, while attending the University of Oklahoma, Stewart would take an interest in writing. Pursuing a degree in journalism at the time, Stewart covered the professional wrestling industry for various publications. During his brief stint as a writer, one publication requested he write about his local independent wrestling scene. Stewart would attend different professional wrestling events around the state of Oklahoma breaking down the action and introducing readers to a new cast of local characters. Following one of these articles covering Oklahoma independent wrestling action, a booker at a federation in Oklahoma City reached out to Stewart and asked if he would like to be involved in the action.

Stewart would debut as a color commentator for Empire Pro Wrestling (EPW) in Midwest City, Oklahoma alongside fellow color commentator Chris Anderson and play-by-play commentator Mike Andrews (the latter of which, Stewart has deemed a mentor to him in professional wrestling). The first main event Stewart ever commentated was a No Disqualification's match for the EPW All-American Championship between Drake Gallows and Derek James, which Gallows would win thanks to an interference from ECW legend Sabu. Following his professional wrestling debut, Stewart has significantly limited his journalistic endeavors.

In the following two years, Stewart would continue serve as a broadcast commentator, as well as adopting new roles outside of the ring; including serving as a ring announcer, interviewer, and producer across a variety of pro wrestling promotions in the United States. Currently, Stewart can often be seen in a broadcast commentator role across the mid-south region of the United States (most notably for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling) in Texas.
