WWF Mania was a World Wrestling Federation Saturday morning television program that aired on the USA Network between 1993 and 1996.

It recapped events that happened during the week in the WWF at the time and, in its earlier years, usually featured an exclusive match.

Hosts[]

Todd Pettengill was the host of Mania. Pettengill was joined by "Macho Man" Randy Savage from 1993 to 1994 and by Stephanie Wiand for a brief period in 1995.

In 1996, WWF Diva Sunny was the special host on Mania and the title was changed to The Sunny Show for that one episode. In September 1996, Mania was cloned in the form of WWF Blast-Off which aired on Superstation WGN at 9 a.m. Eastern (one hour before Mania). They were essentially the same show, hosted by Todd Pettengill and showing the same matches from Monday Night RAW and WWF Superstars of Wrestling, only WWF Blast-Off was hosted in a production studio while Mania had an actual set. Mania was cancelled in September 1996 and it was succeeded by another recap show, WWF LiveWire. Pettengill also hosted LiveWire until he left in late 1997. Mania's television run lasted from January 9, 1993 through September 14, 1996.

United Kingdom version[]

In the UK, the show was shown on Friday nights at 8 p.m. on Sky One and also on Saturdays at 12 noon on Sky One. Due to the time difference between the US and the UK, UK fans got to see Mania first. Mania in the UK was more than a recap show - it was the only way to see what happened on RAW until it started to be aired in the UK in 1995 on Sky Sports.

Home video[]

There was also a WWF Mania VHS released in the UK in 1994, as hosted by Johnny Polo. It featured a ten-man tag team match pitting I.R.S., Jeff Jarrett, Rick Martel, and The Headshrinkers against Tatanka, 1-2-3 Kid, Bob Holly, and The Smokin' Gunns.
