Not to be confused with the original APW Tag Team Championship.

The All Pro Wrestling / Vendetta Pro Wrestling "Unified" Tag-Team Championship is the primary Tag-Team Championship contested in both Vendetta Pro Wrestling, as well as in All Pro Wrestling. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition.

History

The title made its first appearance at Summer Sizzle 2011 on July 16, 2011 as the Vendetta Pro Wrestling Tag-Team Championship when, prior to the beginning of the first match between Dos Perfectos and The Pinoy Boyz, Vendetta Pro official Joseph Duncan interrupted the announcement of the competitors. Making his way to the ring, Duncan was on a cell phone talking directly with the Commissioner of Vendetta Pro Wrestling, Christian Cole, who was unable to attend in person due to severe traffic problems created by a closure of California freeway 405. Duncan also had in his hands two Championship belts, and he informed ring announcer Donald DeNoyer that the Commissioner had ordered the 20-minute time limit waved for the match and that the match would crowd the first-ever Vendetta Pro Wrestling Tag-Team Championship.

As of December 14, 2011, the title has been co-branded as both a Vendetta Pro Wrestling and All Pro Wrestling Championship title. It will be defended on events held by both promotions.[1]

Dos Perfectos (Greg Hernandez 'Y' Jesse Jimenez), defeated The Pinoy Boyz (Aaron Solo & Kimo Kanaloa) to become the first-ever Champions.

The Current Unified Tag-Team Champions are The Suburban Commandos (D-Unit & T-Rent), SU/KA (Sunami & Kadin Anthony) and the defending Champion Ballard Brothers (Shane & Shannon Ballard) in a Triangle Tag-Team match in Hayward, California to become the first team to win the Unified Tag-Team titles on an All Pro Wrestling event.
