Welp, here we are--

Just 3 more days till Wrestling Dontaku, 4 till Extreme Rules and then the following week Global Wars feat. ROH vs NJPW.

I think it's safe to say professional wrestling is falling back into a groove, for years it almost felt like no North American wrestling company were running on experience and instead were trying to recreate or experiment, but I can honestly say that 2014 has been killing it.

In retrospect, Royal Rumble did a fine job of working towards Wrestlemania--

and Elimination Chamber's two main events were absolutley phenomenal.

So why is it that people are still not giving credit when it's due?

Could it be that the legion of fans hoping and wishing for the Attitude Era to return, just simply refuse to enjoy today's product? and if so, what keeps them compelled to watch?

Another type of fanbase I've seen reach new heights this year are these "Muscle Marks" which are quite possibly the polar opposite of how the "IWC" was back in it's hayday.

They're almost not worth mentioning, but I'm sure you have seen people talking about how Daniel Bryan could never be World Champion based on his size and not based on his actual wrestling ability...

How can you be a fan of wrestling and think that way?

To each his own I guess.

Not on topic with North American company's but back on topic from the start of this-- New Japan has been unstoppable this year and they look like they're only picking up more steam as they go.

We can only watch and find out, though... so try keeping an open mind? :)
