The UWA World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling championship from the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA). After the UWA faded away in the early 90s, the championship was defended in other promotions including Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).

The last champion is Dr. Wagner Jr. who won it on June 18, 2004. He defended the championship in Mexican indie promotions and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). After Dr. Wagner Jr. won championships in Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and other promotions, he no longer defended the UWA World Heavyweight Championship.
