The Smokin' Aces is a professional wrestling tag team composed of Charlie Sterling and Nick Riley, currently working on the European independent scene. They are former PROGRESS Tag Team Champions.
History[]
Charlie Sterling & Nick Riley made their debut as a team for PROGRESS Wrestling at Chapter 109, advancing past the first round in a tournament for the vacant PROGRESS Tag Team Championship after defeating Brendan White & Danny Jones. However, Sterling & Riley were eliminated in the semi final by Kid Lykos & Kid Lykos II. At Chapter 121, Sterling & Riley, now known as The Smokin' Aces, won the PROGRESS Tag Team Championship following a victory over Kid Lykos & Kid Lykos II, holding the title until Chapter 131 where they were dethroned in a Gauntlet Match.
