History[]
NXT (2022-2023)[]
On the July 19th, episode of NXT, Joe Gacy introduced the new identities and gimmicks of the Grizzled Young Veterans now being known as The Dyad. With Zack Gibson now being known as Rip Fowler and James Drake now being known as Jagger Reid. Gacy's alliance with The Dyad introduced The Schism. Before revealing their indentities, Gacy questioned the two asking "there is no going back, do you accept this fate?".
In the weeks leading up to the October 25th, episode of NXT, a mysterious figure began appearing during backstage segments and in the crowd. The figure covered themselves with a red hoodie, never showing their face. Gacy would introduce the hooded figure as the fourth member of The Schism, asking them the same question he gave to The Dyad. The figure would remove their mask to reveal themselves as Ava Raine.
