The Nightmares aka "The Galaxians" were a professional wrestling tag team comprised of Danny Davis and Ken Wayne.
Career[]
Danny Davis and Ted Allen became "The Nightmares" in 1981. Allen left the team to be briefly replaced by David Oswald, who was replaced by Speed (Ken Wayne), and the tag team was known as "Nightmare and Speed".
Jim Cornette managed a repackaged Davis and Wayne as "The Galaxians" in 1982 and they feuded with the newly formed tag team of the The Rock 'n' Roll Express. The team began using "The Nightmares" moniker in 1984 and won it's first title (AWA Southern Tag Team Championship), they would lated move on to Southeast Championship Wrestling.
Former member Ted Allen formed his own version of the Nightmares in 1985 with Billy Starr and won the Deep South Tag team titles 3 times.
Ted Allen passed away on August 10, 2010 at the age of 54.
