The Inner Circle was an American professional wrestling stable in All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

History

The group debuted in 2019 on October 2 during the series premiere of AEW Dynamite. At the conclusion of the main event tag match between Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz against Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, the Young Bucks were assaulted by Jericho's team after Omega was ambushed earlier in the match by Jon Moxley. After Elite member Cody Rhodes returned to the ring to aid his Elite teammates the Young Bucks, he was ambushed by Sammy Guevara. Shortly after, Cody's brother Dustin Rhodes entered the ring to aid his brother against Guevara. Quickly, Dustin Rhodes was ambushed by the debuting Jake Hager. At the conclusion of the assault, Jericho's group stood in triumph, presenting themselves as an official alliance and solidifying their heel status.

The following week on the October 9 episode of Dynamite, Jericho led his group to the ring to deliver a mic segment confirming the alliance. Jericho announced the group under the name The Inner Circle. During that night's main event tag match, Jericho and Guevara with Hager at ringside, won a tag match defeating Hangman Adam Page and Dustin Rhodes.
