The Great American Bash 2008 was the fifth annual Great American Bash pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on July 20, 2008 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York and featured talent from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands.

- Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder defeated John Morrison and The Miz (c), Jesse and Festus, and Finlay and Hornswoggle in a Fatal Four-Way match to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.
- Hawkins pinned Jesse after throwing him from the top turnbuckle.
- Shelton Benjamin defeated Matt Hardy to win the WWE United States Championship.
- Benjamin pinned Hardy after a Paydirt
- Mark Henry (with Tony Atlas) defeated Tommy Dreamer (with Colin Delaney) to retain the ECW Championship.
- Henry pinned Dreamer after the World's Strongest Slam.
- During the match, Delaney turned on Dreamer by pulling him off the top turnbuckle.
- Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Michaels.
- The referee stopped the match after Michaels began to bleed from his right eye.
- Michelle McCool defeated Natalya to become the first WWE Divas Championship.
- McCool forced Natalya to submit with a Brazilian heel hook.
- World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk fought Batista to a double disqualification.
- The match ended after Kane interfered and attacked both men.
- John "Bradshaw" Layfield defeated John Cena in a New York City Parking Lot Brawl.
- JBL pinned Cena after throwing him through a car windshield.
- Triple H defeated Edge to retain the WWE Championship.
- Triple H pinned Edge after a Pedigree.
- During the match, Alicia Fox interfered on Edge's behalf while Vickie Guerrero tried to stop her.
