The Best Team Ever is a professional wrestling stable featured in Ohio Valley Wrestling. The team consists of Jessie Godderz and Rudy Switchblade who often wrestled as arrogant but highly talented heels. The team's last match was on January 30, 2013, suggesting unlikihood of future matches to follow as Godderz was promoted to the Impact Wrestling roster as the onscreen boyfriend/manager of Tara.
History
The Best Team Ever wrestled their first match on December 5, 2012. Godderz and Switchblade teamed with Doug Williams in a dark six-man tag match defeating Team GutCheck (Alex Silva and Sam Shaw) with Johnny Spade. On December 12, The Best Team Ever won their second consective tag match against Elvis Pridemoore and Stephon J. Baxter III. They went on to wrestle in a Dark Four-Way match on January 16, 2013 against The Mascara Mafia (Espy and Paredyse, The Mobile Homers (Adam Revolver and Ted McNaler) and The Street Kings (Chase King and Matt King) on the 700th episode of OVW TV. On January 30, Godderz and Switchblade wrestled in a Four Corner tag match against Team GutCheck (Silva and Shaw), The Mascara Mafia (Espy and Paredyse) and The Mobile Homers, losing to Team Gutcheck in the 702nd episode of OVW TV.
