The Belle Saints were a babyface tag team of female professional wrestlers who competed for Women Superstars Uncensored. The team consisted of Marti Belle and Tina San Antonio, and they had one reign as WSU Tag Team Champions together. Belle also held the WSU Spirit Championship on one occasion.

History

Women Superstars Uncensored

Debut and Tag Title Reign (2010-2011)

The Belle Saints made their debut as a team on March 6, 2010 at WSU's 3rd Anniversary Show, facing off against The Boston Shore (Amber and Lexxus) in a losing effort. The duo worked together again on November 6 and would defeat The Cosmo Club's Jana and Cindy Rogers to win the WSU Tag Team Championship. Their first title defense was a successful one against Jennifer Cruz and Jamilia Craft on the same night. On March 1, 2011, Tina San Antonio was attacked backstage and was unable to team with Marti Belle at WSU's 4th Anniversary Show. At the event, four days after Tina's attack, Belle teamed with Jazz and defeated The Soul Sisters (Jana and Luscious Latasha) and The Cosmo Club (Amy Lee and Cindy Rogers) to retain the tag titles. The reunited Belle Saints lost the tag titles to The Boston Shore at Uncensored Rumble IV on June 25.

Split and Feud (2011-2012)

At Breaking Barriers II on November 19, 2011, The Belle Saints were defeated by The Soul Sisters in a #1 Contender's Match for the WSU Tag Team Championship. After the match, Tina blamed Belle for the loss, which led Belle to confront her about a rumor that Tina was (kayfabe) heading to World Wrestling Entertainment. WSU Commissioner Amy Lee played video of Tina's attack from March, but the video revealed that it was a hoax, with Tina turning heel and revealing that she faked the whole thing to leave Belle behind to (kayfabe) try out for WWE. After a verbal confrontation, Tina and Belle hugged each other, but at that instant, the evil Tina cemented herself as a villainess by attacking Belle in the ring. On January 21, 2012, the former partners were on opposite sides of an eight-woman tag team match, with Tina's heel team defeating Belle's face team. They faced each other twice in one-on-one matches, with Belle winning the first meeting at WSU's 5th Anniversary Show, and Tina winning the second meeting at the J-Cup event in April.
