The American Sweethearts were a babyface tag team of female professional wrestlers in Shine Wrestling. The team consisted of Santana Garrett and Amber O'Neal who also competed for Women of Wrestling where they are former holders of the WOW Tag Team Championship.

Amber O'Neal debuted for Shine Wrestling at SHINE 10 on May 24, 2013 in a losing effort to Ivelisse. After the match, Ivelisse attacked O'Neal in the ring, which prompted Santana Garrett to come to her rescue. They would become aligned together since the event, with O'Neal in Santana's corner at SHINE 11 during the SHINE Championship Tournament. O'Neal and Santana's first match as a tag team came at SHINE 12 on August 23; a victorious outing against Brandi Wine and Malia Hosaka. Now known as The American Sweethearts, the duo competed in a losing effort against The S-N-S Express (Sassy Stephie and Jessie Belle Smothers) at SHINE 13. At SHINE 14 on October 27, the Sweethearts teamed with Leva Bates in a losing effort against the S-N-S Express, which now had the evil Nevaeh as a member. At SHINE 15 on December 13, the Sweethearts were again defeated by the Express, and per the pre-match stipulations, the Sweethearts disbanded.
