Team GutCheck was a professional wrestling stable featured in Ohio Valley Wrestling. The members include Alex Silva and Sam Shaw who formed their team in October 2012.
History[]
Silva and Shaw first wrestled on October 17 as part of a team with Johnny Spade and Rob Terry against Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, Doug Williams and Crimson. Silva and Shaw officially wrestled as Team GutCheck on October 30. They won their first titles on December 2, against The Best Team Ever (Jessie Godderz and Rudy Switchblade) for the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship. They went on to feud with the tag team The Coalition (formerly named The Platoon of Wayne) in a series of championship matches. The first of these was on January 16, 2013 when The Coalition won the tag titles from GutCheck. Their next title match together was on February 27 on episode #706 of OVW TV, resulting in a victory for GutCheck, winning back the championship. They successfully defended their titles against The Coalition on March 2.
