Bethlehem?[]
I was watching the Jan 21/10 episode of Smackdown and one of the announcers, I think Matt Striker, referred to her as "Bethlehem." This was very confusing as I had assumed it to be Elizabeth or maybe something like Bethany.
Was this a mistake? Maybe trying to make her sound biblical like Ezekial Jackson? Ty 04:55, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
It sounds to me like it was. WWE tries to avoid identifying wrestlers to any particular religious or political stand point. But that would be a very unique name or nickname to attach to Beth Phoenix. It's unfortunate that she left the company. She was one of the few women who actually wrestled and wrestled well. The 7th Scribe (talk) 21:06, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
