Teamed with TNA Champion Kurt Angle in a match where Angle's TNA World Heavyweight Championship, Joe's TNA X Division Championship, and Team 3D's tag team championships were on the line, and if either Joe or Angle made the pinfall they would get all the titles by themselves. Joe pinned Brother Ray to win the titles. | ||

Midway through the match Young leaves the ringside area and later returns under his Super Eric disguise and he and Kaz win the titles, resulting in Styles and Tomko complaining to TNA Management Director Jim Cornette that they were not defeated by their advertised opponents and they should be given the titles back. Cornette gives Young the choice to admit he's Super Eric or he and Kaz will be stripped of the titles. When Young refuses to do so Cornette vacates the championship. According to official TNA History, Kaz & Eric Young's win is not recognized and it was Styles and Tomko who were stripped of the titles due to the controversy. | |
