The TNA Hall of Fame is a virtual hall of fame for Professional wrestlers maintained by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It was officially created on May 31, 2012 episode of TNA's Impact Wrestling television program. Inductees will be chosen based on their contributions to TNA's history. On June 10 at Slammiversary, Sting was revealed as the inaugural inductee into the Hall of Fame. He was formally inducted at Bound for Glory in October 2012.
In 2012, TNA announced the creation of the TNA Hall of Fame. TNA announced the inductee at the summer PPV Slammiversary and the ceremony is one day before Bound for Glory, TNA's biggest event. The first inductee was Sting. In 2013, Kurt Angle was the second inductee. At Bound for Glory, he (kayfabe) rejected his Hall of Fame induction and started a feud against Bobby Roode. On January 23, 2014, at Genesis, Angle defeated Roode in a match where if Angle lost, he would never accept his Hall of Fame induction. According to the storyline, Angle accepted his induction on February 1, 2014, which aired February 27th.
