Swerve In Our Glory was a professional wrestling tag team composed of Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The pair have also teamed together on the independent scene.

History[]

Keith Lee and Shane Strickland made their debut as a team on October 7, 2017, at an AAW: Professional Wrestling Redefined event, defeating Michael Elgin and Myron Reed. Lee and Strickland would go on to have opportunities at the AAW Tag Team Championship but failed to win the title.

Both Lee and Strickland signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2022, with Lee making his debut on the February 9, 2022 episode of Dynamite while Strickland, under the ring name Swerve Strickland, signed a contract with the company at Revolution 2022. Lee and Strickland would begin joining forces while both men were feuding with Team Taz members Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs, with Lee and Strickland debuting as a team in AEW in a loss to Starks and Hobbs after interference from Taz. Lee and Strickland then began racking up victories on Dark and Dark: Elevation, entering into the top five ranked tag teams on the May 18, 2022 episode of Dynamite following a victory over The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake). After the match, Lee was interrupted by Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs, who stated they were more deserving of an AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity. This brought out the AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus), along with their manager Christian Cage. Cage proposed a Three Way Tag Team Match for the title at Double or Nothing 2022, along with a Three Way Match between Jungle Boy, Starks, and Strickland on the next week's Dynamite. Strickland would win the Three Way Match before all three teams began brawling after the match. At Double or Nothing, Lee and Strickland, now known collectively as Swerve In Our Glory, failed to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

On the June 8, 2022 episode of Dynamite, during a Casino Battle Royal to determine Jon Moxley's opponent in the main event, Strickland turned on Lee after eliminated him from the match while he had his back turned. Despite the friction between Lee and Strickland following the Battle Royal, they would continue to win on Dark and Dark: Elevation. On the June 24, 2022 episode of Rampage, it was announced that Swerve In Our Glory would be competing on the pre-show of AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door in a match against El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru of Suzuki-gun, with Lee declaring that continued victories could help him and Swerve get back on track. At Forbidden Door, Swerve In Our Glory was successful in defeating Desperado and Kanemaru.
