SS19 Kevin Owens v Shane McMahon

At SummerSlam, Kevin Owens will face off with Shane McMahon in a highly personal showdown, and if Owens loses, he will be forced to quit WWE.

The outspoken Owens spent the better part of the last several weeks bombarding Shane McMahon with a series of scathing tirades and some carefully timed assaults. After eating several Stunners, Shane seemed ready to address the KO situation on SmackDown LIVE, but the former Universal Champion released one of his antagonizing selfie videos on social media during Raw Reunion, challenging Shane-O-Mac to a showdown at SummerSlam. In the video, Owens said he would quit WWE if he lost to the former SmackDown LIVE Commissioner.

Claiming he was only accepting Owens’ challenge because SummerSlam needed to see the “The Best in the World” in action, Shane agreed to the match.

Owens maintains that Shane has turned SmackDown LIVE – and even Raw -- into his own personal one-man show to the detriment of more deserving WWE Superstars. Can he turn The Biggest Event of the Summer into “The Kevin Owens Show”? Or will “The Best in the World” cancel his program once and for all?
