SS 2018 Cedric Alexander v Gulak

Drew Gulak won an incredible Fatal 4-Way against Mustafa Ali, Hideo Itami and TJP to earn the right to challenge for the WWE Cruiserweight Title. The reigning champion, Cedric Alexander, has said he'll fight anyone at any time. Now, the time and place has been named.

As confirmed by 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick, Alexander and Gulak will clash for the title at SummerSlam, marking Alexander's biggest showcase since winning the championship at WrestleMania and the biggest opportunity yet for Gulak, who has long been bubbling under the surface as one of WWE's most talented and fearsome grapplers.

The two have had a handful of competitive matches in the past, but both have grown leaps and bounds since their last confrontation, with Alexander the hybrid, fighting champion and Gulak the savage, merciless mat master who has left countless opponents pretzeled on the canvas.
