SummerSlam (2004) was the seventeenth annual SummerSlam pay-per-viewevent produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on August 15, 2004 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario and featured talent from the Raw and SmackDown!. The official theme song was "Summertime Blues" by Rush and the official tagline was "Let the Games Begin."

- Spike Dudley pinned Billy Kidman after the Dudleyz hit the 3D
- Till Death Do Us Part Lita Marries The Winner Match: Kane defeats Matt Hardy (6:05)
- Kane pins Hardy after chokeslamming him from the top rope and wins the rights to marry Lita

- The Undertaker used the WWE title belt as a weapon against JBL and got himself disqualified.
- After the match, The Undertaker chokeslammed a bloodied JBL through the roof of his white stretch limousine.
- The Undertaker took some of JBL's blood and smeared it over his chest.
