South Atlantic Pro Wrestling was a professional wrestling promotion based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
History[]
- The company was started by George Scott and a couple of associates as the North American Wrestling Association in February 1990.
- Paul Jones and Frank Dusek bought the company in July 1990.
- The company ran shows almost exclusively in the Carolinas, except for their last show, a combined effort with National Wrestling League in Maryland.
- Notable names to wrestle for NAWA/SAPW: Ricky Steamboat, Robert Fuller, Paul Jones, Vince Torelli, Nasty Boys, The Pitbulls, The Fantastics, Manny Fernandez, Bob Orton, Jr., Dean Malenko and Koko B. Ware.
