The September 2, 2021 Edition of Impact was a Professional wrestling television show of Impact Wrestling. It was taped in Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
Event[]
The show opened with a Six person tag team match between The Influence (Tenille Dashwood, Kaleb with a K & Madison Rayne) and the team of Taylor Wilde, Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering. A german suplex from Wilde to Kaleb got the win for her team.
There was an interview with Deonna Purrazzo & Matthew Rehwoldt, where Deonna talked about her recent Knockouts Championship defense against Melina at Empowerrr. Following that, Tommy Dreamer was cutting a promo backstage when Christian interrupted it, and Dreamer made him promise not to interfere in his match against Ace Austin.
The second match had Decay (Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus) with Rosemary & Havok go up against Fallah Bahh & No Way. During the later's entrance, one of the conga line members attacked Rosemary, then revealed herself to be Tasha Steelz! Savannah Evans appeared as well, and the four of them brawled their way to backstage. The match ended with Steve pinning Fallah following a diving DDT.
W. Morrisey was talking about Eddie Edwards and Sami Callihan in an interview, and Moose approached him to propose an alliance against the two. Steve Maclin then cut a promo threatening Petey Williams.
Moose walked to the ring and called out Eddie Edwards. Eddie ran in and attacked him with his kendo stick when W. Morrisey ran in as well, and Eddie got brutalized by the two.
No Way & Fallah Bahh were being interviewed when TJP appeared, ready to argue with Fallah for replacing him, but all was well in the end. There then was a vignette from Violent By Design showing Rhino's redemption.
Josh Alexander put his X Division Championship on the line in an open challenge for any former champions, and it was answered by the returning Jake Crist! The Walking Weapon retained after nailing the C4 spike. Chris Sabin then walked to the ring and challenged him to a title match, and he accepted.
Brian Myers & Sam Beale recruited several wrestlers for a class on how to become a professional, though most of them were cut.
The next match was Rohit Raju & Mahabali Shera vs. Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green. Rohit pinned Chelsea after a high knee.
A creepy vignette was aired featuring Su Yung, Kimber Lee & the newly converted Brandi Lauren. The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) went to the ring and mocked Willie Mack for being injured until Rich Swann ran in and attacked them with a chair, and security had to separate them.
Backstage, Rich was still raring for a fight when Scott D'Amore arrived and told him that he'd face Karl Anderson in a Bunkhouse Brawl.
The main event was Ace Austin, with Madman Fulton, vs. Tommy Dreamer, with the stipulation that if Dreamer won he'd be added to Ace's title match against Christian Cage at Victory Road. After Fulton interfered through the entire match, Dreamer took him out with a DDT, just for Ace to then hit The Fold and pin him.
