New England Championship Wrestling (2010-2011)

On August 8, 2010, Mercedes made her debut in New England Championship Wrestling, teaming with Ivy in a victory over Ariel and Sammi Lane in a tag team match. She returned to the promotion on September 4, 2011, again teaming with Ivy defeating Mistress Belmont and Veda Scott.

Chaotic Wrestling (2010-2012)

Women's Champion (2011–2012)

Mercedes KV started her wrestling career in Chaotic Wrestling, where she was firstly trained. She made her in ring debut on October 1, 2010 in a intergender tag team match, where she teamed up with Nikki Roxx in a lossing effort to Alexxis and Danny E. On October 22, Mercedes lost to Danny E in a singles match.On January 7, 2011, Mercedes got her first victory when she and Nikki Roxx defeated Alexxis and Mistress Belmont in a tag team match with Danny E serving as the special guest referee. On February 11, Mercedes took part of a five women gauntlet match to determinate the first ever Chaotic Wrestling Women's Champion, but was unsuccessful in winning the belt. On March 25, Mercedes defeated Mistress Belmont in a singles match. On April 8, Alexxis defeated Mercedes in a #1 Contenders match. Three months later, Alexxis defeated Mercedes to retain the Women's Championship. On November 11, Mercedes defeated Ivy to earn a championship match.On December 2, Mercedes defeated Alexxis in a "I Quit" match to win the Chaotic Wrestling Women's Championship for the first time. In her first title defence, Mercedes defeated Barbie on January 6, 2012. On February 24, Mercedes defeated Alexxis in her rematch to retain the Women's Championship with Nikki Roxx serving as the special guest referee. After the match, Nikki Roxx attacked both of them turning heel in the process. Weeks later, on March 31, Mercedes defeated Nikki Roxx to retain the Women's Championship. On May 11, Mercedes defeated Nikki Roxx once again to retain the Women's Championship. On June 1, Mercedes defeated Alexxis, Barbie and Mistress Belmont in a fatal four–way match to retain the championship. Following her win, Mercedes became the longest reigning Chaotic Wrestling Women's Champion in history by breaking Alexxis's previous record of 182 days. On July 20, Mercedes once again defended her belt successfully against Aida Marie. On August 18, the Women's Championship was declared vacant after Mercedes was signed to the World Wrestling Entertainment, ending her reign at 260 days.

WWE (2012-present)

On August 18, it was announced that Mercedes was signed by the company and would be sent to their developmental company NXT Wrestling. She debuted in a NXT live event, teaming with Audrey Marie in a winning effort against Paige and Emma. Mercedes under her new ring name Sasha Banks debuted on the December 12 episode of NXT wrestling in a losing effort against Paige.
