Ryan Tran is a Vietnamese professional wrestling referee and former professional wrestler. Tran is currently signed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and began his career as a referee in 2010 in NXT, the developmental branch for WWE talent and upcoming superstars. It wasn't until February 2012 that he got sent up to the flagship show, Raw. Tran spent his childhood years in Hayward, California.
As a child he grew up idolizing WWE legend and Hall of Famer, Ricky Steamboat. Tran initially trained under Harley Race with the goals of becoming a superstar himself. Tran once appeared on ECW against Tyson Kidd's for his debut match and lost the match. Tran says that his favorite calls was the Triple Threat tag team match between Cody Rhodes and Goldust, The Shield’s Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins and The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Hell in a Cell 2013.

Tran is also an avid sports fan and enjoys professional American Football, particularly the Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco Giants. He also enjoys collecting McFarlane Sports Figures.
