Ryan Howe (born 1987) is an American professional wrestler best known for his gimmick as a rock 'n' roll, guitar-player named Ryan Howe. He is currently a regular wrestler working for Ohio Valley Wrestling.
Career[]
In March 2011, he was chosen to be one of the participants of Tough Enough V that is scheduled to premiere on April 4, 2011. He was eliminated in episode 5.
Ohio Valley Wrestling (2011-Present)[]
Howe began working for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) during May 2011. He has since been known for his musical gimmick being a rock guitar player. He won his first title in OVW on the August 8, 2012 edition of OVW TV, winning the OVW Television Championship by defeating Rob Terry and reigning champion Tony Gunn. He later dropped the title to Alex Silva in a match during the September 12 edition of OVW TV.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2013)[]
TNA Gutcheck[]
Howe was invited onto the televised programming of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) during its July edition of the TNA Gut Check. During the video promos for the competition, Howe described his musical background and how it led into his choice of entering professional wrestling. His rival during that competition was the young powerhouse Adam Ohriner. During the June 26 edition of Impact Wrestling, Ohriner defeated Ryan Howe in singles competition. However, neither Ohriner or Howe won the competition. Afterwards, Howe returned to TNA's developmental territory OVW to continue wrestling.
