Kubo Sato (February 24, 1999) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), where he is known under the ring name Rising HAYATO and is a member of NEXTREAM.

Career[]

Early career[]

In 2016, Kubo Sato, who was still in high school, discovered the launch of Ehime Pro Wrestling and joined the promotion. Sato, wrestling under the ring name Rising HAYATO, made his debut on October 15, facing Masayuki Mitomi. HAYATO would continue to wrestle in various Japanese independent promotions.

All Japan Pro Wrestling (2019-present)[]

HAYATO made his debut for All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) at Super Power Series 2019 - Night 8, winning the All Japan vs. Ehime Pro One Day Six Man Tournament alongside Carbell Ito & Jun Akiyama after defeating Hokuto Omori, Kentaro Yoshida & Takao Omori. HAYATO returned to AJPW at New Year Wars 2020 - Night 1, competing in a battle royal. In June and July, HAYATO competed in the Asunaro Cup, winning one of his three matches to finish third with two points. On October 24, HAYATO & Akira Francesco failed to win the AJPW All Asia Tag Team Championship from Izanagi & Zeus. HAYATO teamed with Atsuki Aoyagi in the Junior Tag Battle of Glory 2020, making it to the final. However, they were defeated by Evolution's Dan Tamura & Hikaru Sato.

On January 10, 2021, at Chika Extra Dream 25, HAYATO faced Junior Tag Battle of Glory 2020 partner Atsuki Aoyagi, with the match ending after a double knockout. Following the match, HAYATO and Aoyagi were invited to join NEXTREAM by Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi. Soon after joining NEXTREAM, HAYATO & Atsuki Aoyagi won a three way tag team match to earn a shot at the AJPW All Asia Tag Team Championship, however, HAYATO & Aoyagi failed to win the championship. In June, HAYATO was eliminated by El Lindaman in the first round of the Junior Battle of Glory 2021. In January, 2022, at New Year Wars 2022 - Night 3, HAYATO failed to win the AJPW World Junior Heavyweight Championship from SUGI.
