Ricky Gibson is an American professional wrestler currently working on the Independent circuit under the ring name Ricky Gibson.

Career[]

Early Career[]

Gibson began wrestling in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, Gibson appeared in West Coast Wrestling Connection under the ring name Cosmic River, as a member of The Hippies. During this time, he teamed with Kid Kahava and Daydream Believer. Additionally, he was able to capture the WCWC Tag Team Championship with partner J-Sin Sullivan.

All Elite Wrestling[]

Gibson made his debut for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on the January 9, 2023 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation where he teamed with Eddie Pearl and faced the team of Eddie Kingston & Ortiz but were defeated. His next appearance was on the January 17, 2023 episode of AEW Dark where he teamed with Eddie Pearl and faced The Jericho Appreciation Society (Angelo Parker & Matt Menard) but were defeated. His next appearance was on the May 15, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite in a Dark Match where he teamed with Eddie Pearl & Sid Sylum and faced The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno & John Silver) in a losing effort.

World Wrestling Entertainment[]

Gibson made his debut for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on the September 13, 2024 episode of Friday Night Smackdown being revealed as the mystery tag team partner for Kevin Owens to face A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) but was replaced by Randy Orton after being hit with the Stunner from Owens.
