James Ricardo Miller (April 2, 1992) is an American professional wrestler and former college football player. He was signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), on its NXT brand.

Early life

Miller was born and raised in Orlando, FL. He attended Dr. Phillips High School between 2006 and 2008 before later moving with his family to Ann Arbor, Michigan. There, he attended Pioneer High School during 2008-2009. In school, Miller was a standout student, including being a National Honor Society member and was the 2008 Student Athlete of the Year.

Football career (2010-2017)

After graduating, Miller attended the University of Michigan where he played as a tight end in football. During his freshman year, he was part of the special teams, playing his first game during the 2010 season. Between his freshman and sophomore year in 2011, Miller and the Wolverines were Sugar Bowl champions. During his junior year in 2012, Miller played five games while on special teams. By his junior year Miller transferred to the College of Literature, Science and the Arts in Ann Arbor, MI.

Miller went on to sign with the Swedish Football League, where he played on the Uppsala 86ers team during the 2016 season. The following year he played in the German Football League, signing with the Saarland Hurricanes for the 2017 season as a wide receiver.

During February 2019, Miller was announced as having signed with WWE. He reported to the WWE Performance Center as part of the February class of recruits, including wrestlers Karen Q, Rachael Ellering, Albert Hardie Jr., Trevor Lee, Jeffrey "Jeff" Parker, Matt Lee, Sam Shaw, Nick Comoroto, Brendan Vink, Jermaine Haley and fellow former football player Omari Palmer. He requested his release in March 2019.
