The fifth overall ''Reyes del Aire'' tournament took place on Saturday May 9, 2008 on CMLL's weekly show in [[Arena Mexico]]. The tournament format was a ''[[torneo cibernetico]]'', multi-man elimination match with fifteen participants, the first tournament with uneven sides. The tournament featured a mix of lower ranked and mid to top level wrestlers including [[Dragón Rojo, Jr.|Diamante Negro]], [[Ephesto]], [[Euforia (wrestler)|Euforia]], [[Flash]], [[La Mascara]], [[La Sombra (wrestler)|La Sombra]], [[Loco Max]], [[Máscara Purpura]], [[Misterioso, Jr.]], [[Mr. Águila]], [[Sangre Azteca]], [[Stuka, Jr.]], [[Valiente (wrestler)|Valiente]] and former tournament winners [[Virus (wrestler)|Virus]] and [[Volador, Jr.]] During the match Volador, Jr. and Mr. Águila eliminated each other at the same time, with Valiente pinning Sagre Azteca for the final elimination to win the 2008 tournament.
