- El Generico defeated Chris Hero (w/ Sweet n' Sour Inc.) to advance to the semi-finals
- Davey Richards defeated Pelle Primeau to advance to the semi-finals
- Jack Evans defeated Brent Albright to advance to the semi-finals
- Claudio Castagnoli defeated Mike Quackenbush to advance to the semi-finals
- Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness were revealed as the two captains for the $10,000 Tag Team Challenge, and came out to pick their teams. Danielson chose Austin Aries, Matt Sydal and one of the Briscoes, with McGuinness choosing Roderick Strong, Delirious and the other Briscoe.
