Final Battle 2005 was a professional wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on December 17, 2005 at the Inman Sports Complex in Edison, New Jersey. The show featured the ROH debut of Pro Wrestling NOAH stars KENTA and Naomichi Marufuji.
Results
- Jimmy Rave (w/The Embassy) defeated Milano Collection AT
- Colt Cabana defeated Azrieal
- After the match, Homicide came out and confronted Cabana. Homicide said he was there to fight Steve Corino, not Cabana, but if he gets in his way his going to get hurt as well.
- Nigel McGuinness defeated Claudio Castagnoli by disqualification to retain the ROH Pure Championship
- After McGuinness past attempts at cheating, two referees were assigned to the match.
- During the match, one of the referees was knocked out. McGuinness tried to use the opportunity to hit Castagnoli with an iron, but Castagnoli took it away and hit McGuinness with it, which the referee saw and disqualified him for.
- Alex Shelley (w/The Embassy) defeated Steve Corino
- After the match, Corino was attacked by Homicide and Julius Smokes, until Colt Cabana came to his aid. Homicide and Smokes then attacked Cabana, pouring Drano down his throat.
- Jay Lethal defeated BJ Whitmer, Christopher Daniels (w/Allison Danger) and Samoa Joe in a Four Corner Survival match
- Lethal pinned Daniels after a Diving headbutt.
- Backstage, Steve Corino said that Ring of Honor was an unsafe working environment, and quit.
- Ricky Reyes (w/Julius Smokes) defeated Davey Andrews
- After the match, Reyes continued to attack Andrews, breaking the Top of the Class Trophy over his head, until Austin Aries came to his aid.
- Generation Next (Austin Aries & Roderick Strong) defeated Tony Mamaluke & Sal Rinauro to win the ROH Tag Team Championship
- Bryan Danielson defeated Naomichi Marufuji to retain the ROH World Championship
- KENTA defeated Low Ki to retain the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship
