Professional Wrestling Federation was a professional wrestling promotion based out of Tampa, Florida.

History[]

The company was founded by Mike Graham and Steve Keirn as Florida Championship Wrestling, February 1988 in the wake of Jim Crockett's purchase of Championship Wrestling from Florida.
Florida Championship Wrestling became Professional Wrestling Federation to coincide with the arrival of Dusty Rhodes to the promotion.
The company ran it's first live event April 26, 1988.
The company ran shows in Florida and the Bahamas.
Notable names to wrestle for PWF: Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Dan Spivey, Al Perez, Nasty Boys, Scotty The Body, The Fantastics, Manny Fernandez, Junkyard Dog, Wendi Richter, Larry Zbyszko, Dick Slater and Mike Awesome.

PWF Florida Championship Wrestling was a 1-hour television show.
On-air personalities: Gordon Solie, Diamond Dallas Page, Oliver Humperdink, Ted Webb, Wayne Coulter and Diane Hamilton.
The show was directed by Gordon Solie's son, Gregory K. Solie.
