The Paul Sauvé Arena was an arena located in the Canadian city of Montreal, Quebec, within the city's Rosemont district.
Opened in 1960, the Paul Sauvé Arena was a multi-use venue that housed a 4,100-seat hockey rink, a curling rink, a bowling alley, a fitness gym and a restaurant under its roof. It was the home arena for a founding member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Rosemont National (now the Acadie-Bathurst Titan), from 1969 to 1971, and it also played host to political conventions over the years, including events for the 1980 Quebec referendum. It was also used for concerts, lacrosse and boxing events, and it was used as a venue for volleyball matches at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal that year.
The Paul Sauvé Arena was also the main arena for regular weekly wrestling shows presented by Johnny Rougeau's promotion All-Star Wrestling/Les As de la Lutte from 1965 to its closure in 1975, followed by its successor Lutte Internationale from 1980 until that promotion ceased operations in June 1987 due to competition from the WWF.
Following the demise of Lutte Internationale, the arena saw much less use and eventually fell into disrepair. With other similar-sized arenas close by (including the Maurice Richard Arena and the Verdun Auditorium), as well as the larger Forum, to better serve community needs, the arena was demolished in 1992 and a low-rise apartment block was built on the arena site.
