John Washington (December 19, 1986) is an American professional wrestler best known by his ring name Owen Travers.
Professional wrestling career[]
Early career[]
Travers debuted in 2012. Moved to Madison Heights, Michigan, Travers became a regular performer for Michigan-based promotion Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling. His first XICW match was during St. Patrick's Day, teaming with Lance Star in a two-on-one handicap losing to Josh Movado. By April 12, 2015, Travers won his first title at a XICW event, defeating Hakim Zane in a Best Two Out Of Three Falls match, to win the XICW Light Heavyweight Championship.
Ring of Honor (2015)[]
Travers attended a ROH tryout and made a positive impression. On September 11 during the second night of the ROH Reloaded Tour event, where he wrestled in a pre-show match, losing to Father Time.
World Wrestling Entertainment (2018)[]
Travers wrestled on the December 11 episode of Smackdown Live where he teamed with Nathan Ryan under the team name The Vegas Boys in a tag match lost against Shane McMahon & The Miz.
Impact Wrestling (2019)[]
During 2019, Travers wrestled on the October 4 episode of iMPACT!, in a match lost against Johnny Swinger.
