The Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds is a fairground and exposition complex located in Columbus, Ohio. Opened in 1886, the complex houses the 5,003-seat Taft Coliseum, the 10,200-seat Celeste Hall, the 19,968 Historic Crew Stadium, the Bricker Building, the Cooper Arena, the Cox Fine Arts Center, and the Congress Pavilion. The Taft Coliseum has been used for many sports teams including the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Columbus Thunderbolts of the Arena Football League, the Columbus Horizon of the Continental Basketball Association, the Columbus Chill of ECHL, and more. The complex has hosted the Ohio State Fair since 1886. The coliseum was originally named the Fairgrounds Coliseum and the Ohio Expo Center Coliseum before being named to the Taft Coliseum in honor of Bob Taft, the 67th governor of Ohio.
