The October 3, 2006 Edition of ECW was a televised Professional wrestling show by the WWE's ECW brand, that took place on October 3, 2006 at the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas.

The Big Show & Matt Striker defeated The Sandman & Sabu (8:57)
Kevin Thorn (w/ Ariel) defeated Tommy Dreamer (3:05)
CM Punk defeated Danny Doring via submission (1:10)
Test defeated Rob Van Dam in an Extreme Rules Match (21:19)

Other Segments

Featured an opening backstage segment in which Paul Heyman spoke with Hardcore Holly about how much he admired him for sustaining 24 stitches in his back and continuing his match against Rob Van Dam the previous week.

When Heyman refused to give Holly a rematch against RVD because of the injury he was still recovering from, Holly got in Heyman's face and threatened him until Test hit Holly in the back with a steel chair.
Heyman then said RVD would be wrestling later in the night and his opponent would be Test.

Included a backstage by Kelly Kelly and Trinity about the extreme strip poker game scheduled for the following week.
Featured a look at the action scenes in "The Marine"
Included a backstage promo by Maria, saying she was excited about coming to ECW the next week with Candice Michelle to play extreme strip poker.
Featured a backstage promo by Kristal Marshall and Ashley Massaro saying they would win the extreme strip poker game:
