On October 25, 2022, Impact Wrestling announced that the 15th No Surrender event would take place on February 24, 2023, at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Storylines[]

On the February 9 episode of iMPACT!, Frankie Kazarian would question why Sami Callihan joined The Design. However, Kazarian would be confronted by Kon, another member of The Design. Kazarian then challenged Kon to a match at No Surrender, which was accepted.

On the February 2 episode of iMPACT!, it was announced that a Four Way Match would take place at No Surrender to determine a number one contender for the Impact World Championship. Thanks to winning qualifying matches, Brian Myers, PCO, Steve Maclin, and Heath were inserted into the match.

At Hard to Kill on January 13, Moose would appear to beat Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry following a low blow and a spear, however, Impact's new Director of Authority, Santino Marella, would restart the match. After the restart, Hendry would win the bout to retain his title. Following a feud with Matt Cardona, Hendry would escape a post-match attack from Moose on the February 9 episode of iMPACT!. The following week, Moose would inadvertently smash the window of Santino Marella's car, believing it was Hendry's. As a result, Marella scheduled a Dot Combat Match between Hendry and Moose for No Surrender.

On the February 9 episode of iMPACT!, Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary of The Death Dollz defeated Killer Kelly and Taylor Wilde. After the match, they were confronted by Father James Mitchell before being blindsided by The Hex (Allysin Kay and Marti Belle). As a result, it was announced that Valkyrie and fellow Death Dollz member JesSICKa would defend the Knockouts Tag Team Championship against The Hex at No Surrender.

On the February 9 episode of iMPACT!, Impact World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) reunited with KUSHIDA. However, the trio would be confronted by Ace Austin and Chris Bey of BULLET CLUB, who blamed The Major Players (Brian Myers and Matt Cardona) for their failure to win the Impact World Tag Team Championship at Hard to Kill. Austin and Bey then challenged KUSHIDA and The Motor City Machine Guns to a Six Man Tag Team Match at No Surrender, with fellow BULLET CLUB member KENTA teaming up with Austin and Bey.

At Hard to Kill on January 13, Masha Slamovich won a Four Way Match to become the number one contender for the Knockouts Championship. Later that night, in the main event, Mickie James would win the Knockouts Championship after defeating Jordynne Grace. On the January 19 episode of iMPACT!, James was confronted by Slamovich, who handed James a crossed out picture of herself. Soon after, Impact announced that James would defend her Knockouts Championship against Slamovich at No Surrender.

On the January 26 episode of iMPACT!, Rich Swann defeated Sami Callihan, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards, Moose, and Rhino in a Golden Six Shooter Match. As a result of his victory, Swann earned a match with Impact World Champion Josh Alexander at No Surrender.
