Austin Spencer is a Canadian professional wrestler. He has worked for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) under the ring name of Nick Rogers.
Career[]
Independent Circuit (2009-2010)[]
Spencer worked for independent promotions such as Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling and All-Star Wrestling. His most notable opponents during this time ended up being Gurv Sihra and El Phantasmo.
FCW and NXT (2011-2012)[]
In 2011, Spencer was signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) as Nick Rogers. He made his debut on the December 4, 2011 episode of FCW TV, teaming up with Big E Langston to defeat Jiro and Sakamoto. The team of Langston and Spencer later challenged the FCW Florida Tag Team Champions Brad Maddox and Briley Pierce but the champions retained the gold.
In 2012, FCW was shut down, and NXT was the new home for WWE's developmental talent. Rogers only made two appearances on NXT TV, losing both times. In November 2012 Nick Rogers was released from his contract.
