The NXT UK Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling tag team championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion WWE for their NXT UK brand. They were announced on June 18, 2018. The inaugural champions were crowned at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool on January 12, 2019.
History
The championship was announced along with the NXT UK Women's Championship on June 18, 2018 as part of WWE's NXT UK brand. On the October 14, 2018 NXT UK tapings in Plymouth, Triple H and NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint unveiled the championship belts.
