Later that night, Ali proposed that Lee defend his North American Championship against Bate with Ali as guest referee. Lee and Bate agreed and the match was later made official for week one of Gold Rush.
On the June 6 episode of NXT, Bron Breakker called out World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, challenging him to a match. The following week, Rollins appeared in a video, accepting Breakker's challenge. As a result, the match was made official for week one of Gold Rush.
