The ECCW Hardcore Championship was first awarded in November 1999.
Title History[]
The initial crowning of the ECCW Hardcore Championship was the results of a finals match in New Westminster, British Columbia on November 26, 1999 between Ladies Choice and Moondog Manson. Both competitors were selected for this match as a result of a two-day hardcore tournament. The first day took place in Campbell River, British Columbia on November 19, 1999 which saw Ladies Choice defeat Steve Rizzono in round 3 of the first days tournament. The second day took place in Port Hardy, British Columbia on November 20, 1999 where Moondog Manson defeated Juggernaut in a 45-minute plus hardcore match in round 3 of the second days tournament.
With both victories Ladies Choice and Moondog Manson were granted slots in the first ever ECCW Hardcore Championship match.
