The NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling tag team championship created and promoted by Japanese professional wrestling promotion New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) exclusively on the NJPW STRONG program. The championship, the second title to be featured on NJPW STRONG, was announced on June 8, 2022, along with an eight team tournament to crown the inaugural champions. At High Alert 2022, Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) defeated Christopher Daniels and Yuya Uemura to win the tournament and become the inaugural champions.
