NJPW New Year Dash !! 2024 was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 5, 2024 in Tokyo, Japan at the Sumida City Gymnasium. It was the tenth New Year Dash event. It was broadcast on NJPW World.

The first New Year Dash event was held on January 5, 2014, the day following that year's Wrestle Kingdom. New Year Dash was then held each year on January 5 until 2020. Due to Wrestle Kingdom expanding to two nights, both the 2020 and 2021 New Year Dash events were held on January 6. New Year Dash was not held in 2022. However, with the return to a single night Wrestle Kingdom in 2023, New Year Dash returned on January 5. The 2024 New Year Dash took place on January 5, the day after Wrestle Kingdom 18.
Storylines[]
Heading into the 2024 New Year Dash, the card, except for one match, was unknown. Rather, the matches became known as the wrestlers made their entrances. The only match that was confirmed before the show was a Four Way Match to crown the first Provisional KOPW Champion of 2024. The match included Toru Yano, Taiji Ishimori, YOH, and Great-O-Khan, who had qualified by winning the New Japan Ranbo Match the previous night, at Wrestle Kingdom 18.
