The North

The North are a tag team on the independent circuit and in Impact Wrestling. Before debuting in Impact Wrestling in 2019, they were known as The Monster Mafia.

History[]

Independent circuit (2011-2018)[]

Teammates Ethan Page and Josh Alexander debuted as The Monster Mafia on September 24, 2011 in Real Championship Wrestling's No Remorse event, defeating team 4Saken. The Monster Mafia won their first title in 2013 while in Insane Wrestling League on September 1, winning the IWL Tag Team Championship. They held the title until the following year on September 28, 2014. On August 24, 2014, the Monster Mafia won Fringe Pro Wrestling's Tag Team Championship, defeating The Goat Brigade (Kirk Warmack & Shane Sabre). They held the tag titles until October 12. The Monster Mafia the following year, won the PWG World Tag Team Championship while in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. As a team, they spent close to seven years on the independent circuit.

Impact Wrestling (2019-2021)[]

Ethan Page and Josh Alexander reunited during the April 12 episode of iMPACT! Wrestling under the new team name The North. During the program, The North defeated El Reverso & Sheldon Jean. By the following month, The North received their first title match during the May 24 episode of iMPACT! Wrestling. There, they challenged team Latin American Exchange for the Impact World Tag Team Championship.
