Monongahela is a city in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Pittsburgh, PA Metropolitan Statistical Area, and is located approximately 17 miles (27 km) south of the city. It is one of two cities in Washington county, and is the 2nd smallest city in the entire state. Monongahela is best known for its Aquatorium, a 3,000 seat amphitheater style venue built on the Monongahela River.
