Misterioso (September 11, 1994) is an American professional wrestler.

Career[]

Early Career[]

Misterioso made his debut on the independent scene at a Pro Wrestling Revolution event as El Hijo de Misterioso, teaming with Misterioso in a victory over Cazador del Alma & El Dinamita. El Hijo de Misterioso would continue working on the Californian independent scene, winning the UIPW Heavyweight Championship in November, 2013, as Misterioso Jr. Misterioso Jr. would hold the UIPW Heavyweight Championship for 174 days before losing it to Volador Jr. on May 17, 2014. Misterioso Jr. would regain the UIPW Heavyweight Championship on May 7, 2017, after defeating Volador Jr. He would then compete in Dragon Gate during October and November, before another stint with Dragon Gate in January, 2019.

New Japan Pro Wrestling[]

Misterioso Jr. made his New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) debut at Lion's Break Project 2 - Night 1, competing simply as Misterioso, partnering with Aaron Solow in a win over The Riegel Twins (Logan Riegel & Sterling Riegel). Misterioso would have his first singles match in NJPW at The New Beginning In USA 2020 - Night 1, defeating Clark Connors.

Following the creation of New Japan Pro Wrestling's American television program, STRONG, Misterioso would make his STRONG debut on Episode 2, teaming with Blake Christian & PJ Black in a win over ACH, Alex Zayne & TJP. Misterioso would make his All Elite Wrestling debut on the February 16, 2021 episode of AEW Dark, where he was defeated by Brandon Cutler. On Episode 32 of STRONG, Misterioso would fail to qualify for the New Japan Cup USA 2021 after he was defeated by Ren Narita.

Misterioso would eventually form Stray Dog Army alongside Barrett Brown & BATEMAN, with the trio making their in-ring debut on the Resurgence pre-show, defeating Jordan Clearwater, Kevin Knight & The DKC. At Battle In The Valley 2021, Misterioso partnered with BATEMAN to defeat Brody King & Chris Dickinson of VLNCE UNLTD. Misterioso would make another appearance on AEW Dark on December 7, 2021, where he was defeated by Lee Moriarty.
